Your child sits a single 3-hour assessment covering all 4 components of the NSW Selective test: Reading, Mathematical Reasoning, Thinking Skills, and Writing. Real exam conditions.
You receive a detailed diagnostic report and sit down with our head tutor for a consultation. We walk you through exactly where your child stands and what to focus on.
When you pick up your child after the test, we book a convenient time to go through the report with you — either the next day, or on a Monday to Thursday at 5 PM.
The assessment fee is $70. If you enrol your child in a PEN program, the full $70 is credited toward your first term.

No. This is open to all Year 5 students — both current PEN students and external students.
A practice test gives you a score. Our diagnostic gives you a map — which thinking levels your child has mastered, where the boundary is, and what needs fixing. You also get a consultation, not just a number.
